In 2000 David set up Castle Pictures , his website featuring pictures of over 50 Scottish castles including Doune Castle and Eilean Donan Castle .
“A few years ago the Outlander crew filmed a night-time graveyard scene with Jamie ( Sam Heughan ) about a mile from where I live in Polmont .
About seven years ago I drove into the village of Culross in Fife . The place was full of men and women in Highland dress heading for what I assumed were the catering tents . I only found out later they were filming Outlander in Culross . “
